The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches.  Psalm    104:12

Shepherd's Cross Birds in Nature
  • Shepherd's Cross farms in a way that is conducive to the natural habitat. including the wildlife and birds on the farm.
  • This brochure is available at the information booth inside the tour barn.  It represents a small portion of the natural occurring birds we often see on the farm.  Pick up a brochure on your visit and see how many birds you can identify.
  • The oak hedgerow is a natural riparian buffer and a wonderful habitat for the birds.
  • Five ponds provide ample habitat for wildlife.
  • Many birds enjoy the flowers and vegetation in the Bible Garden.
  • We farm in such a way as to assure the safety of our feathered friends.
  • Enjoy the birdwatching!
