Fiber Arts Classes at Shepherd's Cross
- Shepherd's Cross has been teaching fiber arts classes for over three decades
- Classes are held here at the farm.
- Select classes may be available virtually
- Students may bring their own equipment or use our equipment
- Each class participant will complete a take home at least one project
- We schedule individuals or groups; special group rates apply
- Our classes go a step farther than regular classes - we teach some history of fiber arts, and practical technology
- We teach classes nationally and internationally
- Our classes use our own wool, all natural, and Animal Welfare Approved and Made in Oklahoma; with the exception of the Navajo Weave Class using Navajo Churro yarns
- After having had a class with us, we do offer on-site rental of fiber arts equipment
- Rental equipment may include: pick (box or swing), hand drum carder, spinning wheel
- Tuesday through Saturday 8:30 - 5:30
- Rental includes a class refresher, at no charge
- Rental of equipment is $10 per hour or 4 hours for $30 or 8 hours for $50
- One trained person who has previously attended our classes
- Must be registered in advance
