Experience Life as a Shepherd(ess) at Shepherd’s Cross
Sheep Sponsorship is $100 per year.
Sponsorship is a great way to experience being a Shepherd(ess) without the daily responsibilities. Proceeds benefit our non-profit organization Heart of the Shepherd.
Within the year of sponsorship, a shepherd(ess) will enjoy the following:
- Behind the Scenes Tours - these are to be pre-scheduled on one of the assigned dates. Activities may include: feeding lambs in spring; assisting with sheep shearing; learning to tip a sheep; using a staff; wool washing, dying, picking, and carding; spinning on a spinning wheel and/or drop spindle; weaving; felting.
- Educational videos
- Wagon ride
- Receive a “Goodie Bag” on your first behind the scenes visit.
Behind the Scenes Dates for Farm Visits for 2026 are: Wednesday June 11th, Saturday August 2, October 8, December 12th
Behind the Scenes Tours Times are 9:30 am - 11:30 am or 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
