Wool & Other Fiber Carding & Picking
- Take home your firsthand carded rolags, punis, and batt
- Learn how to pick, card and comb wool, alpaca, lama, angora, or other fiber
- Class length is 3 hours
- Tools used will be hand picks, hand carders, swinging pick, box pick, hackles, blending board and drum carder
- Take home your first hand carded rolags and punis
- Classes may be virtual or on site
- We schedule individuals or groups; special group rates apply

- Friday February 13, 2026, from 8:30 am - 11:30 am
- Short Class Available April 23, 24, & 25 at 3:00 to 3:30 (During Wooly Weekend)
- Friday June 19, 2026, from 8:30 - 11:30
- Friday August 14, 2026, from 8:30 - 11:30
- Short Class Friday August 21, from 3:00-3:30
- Short Class Tuesday August 25, from 3:00-3:30
- OR contact us to schedule a one-on-one class Tues - Sat 8:30 am - 5:30 pm (Classes begin at 9 am or 1 pm)
- Cost: $45; materials included (tools and fiber) however participants may bring their own materials
- Or $79 for Carding Class with Take Home Kit (includes hand carders and fiber)
- Our classes go a step farther than regular classes - we teach some history of fiber arts, and practical technology
- All class fees are non-refundable. Class fees can be applied to a different course.
