SC Fiber Classes Rag Rug Weaving Class
In this class, participants will learn to weave on a pre-warped floor loom and take home a beautiful woven rag rug.
The instructor for this class is Heather Strunk. Heather majored in Fibers at Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a concentration in weaving. She enjoys working with a variety of loom types, including rigid heddle, inkle and floor looms.
The cost of the class is $75, all materials included. Class participants decide on the length they prefer during class. A deposit of $20 is required. If you’d like to make more than one rug, you may book more than one time slot with an additional deposit.

Looms will be pre-warped and set up for use throughout the day.
Our classes go a degree farther than most, and teach some history of fiber arts, and practical technology. As well as being augmented by hands on learning tools available in the Educational Farm Museum.
All class fees are non-refundable. Class fees can be applied to a future course.
